The closing banquet will be held at the North Carolina Botanical Garden on Friday, June 22nd, 2012. The botanical garden hosts many display gardens, natural areas and an education center. It is a leader in native plant conservation and education in the southeastern United States for more than 40 years. The botanical garden is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building in North Carolina. You will be able to walk through the native plant and water gardens, the garden of flowering plant families which includes interesting sculptures, and see the carnivorous plant collection. The garden is located 3 miles from the UNC campus, however, transportation will be provided.
