Assistant Professor of Biology Tenure-Track
The Department of Biology at Morehouse College seeks highly qualified applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin in August 2025. Candidates must have an earned PhD in the biological sciences and post-doctoral experience, must be broadly trained, willing to teach at the introductory level, and pursue an active research program in a liberal-arts setting.
Candidates will be expected to establish a research program that engages with undergraduates, pursue external research funding, and teach both introductory and advanced undergraduate courses, including courses for non-science majors to support the General Education curriculum https://morehouse.edu/academics/general-education/ of Morehouse College.
