Biology Lecturer

Shenandoah University’s Department of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications for a Biology Lecturer. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.
This full-time, 9-month position will primarily involve teaching lower-division biology labs, including General Biology I and II. Depending on qualifications, the applicant may be asked to teach other courses (lecture or lab) as departmental needs evolve. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in general biology and anatomy and physiology instruction. Typical teaching load includes 5 – 6 lab sections per semester. An on campus, in-person presence is expected.

The minimum requirement is a masters degree in the biological sciences completed by the appointment date (August 2025). Experience teaching General Biology laboratories is strongly preferred.
