One Year Only

Beginning July 1, 2005 membership subscriptions for ABLE will be for one year only. The motion was approved by the Board and ratified at the Annual General Meeting on June 24, 2005.

Keeping track of who had one and two year memberships has always been difficult for the Chair of the Membership Committee. It was impossible for many of our members to keep track of it as well. Finding out that our financial advisers, including the most recent auditor of the ABLE accounts, also felt that this was an awkward arrangement because it made it more difficult to track and predict cash flow, led the Board to recommend this change.

For members who renewed prior to July 1st, we will honor these two-year subscriptions. All renewals and new memberships after July 1st will be for one year only.

Remember, the membership year is June 1st to May 31st each year, which coincides with our fiscal year.
