ABLE members Todd Nickle (Mount Royal College, Calgary) and Bob Hodson (University of Delaware) are conducting a survey of ABLE workshop adoption. They wondered how many of the workshops presented at the national meetings over the years 1990-2000 were used at home institutions, analogous to the number of literature citations for original research papers. Todd constructed an online form and invited participation via an electronic message sent to all current members. The project is ongoing, but data collected so far from 83 respondents have been analyzed. Of 212 total workshops, 63 were not used at all, 88 were used once, 70 were used sometimes, and 87 were used often. Presented below are the top 10 workshops in the “used often” category. The workshop title, volume, page, and year are presented. The first workshop in the list had six respondents, and the last workshop had three. The complete document is available electronically as an Excel file.
