Tested Studies in Laboratory Teaching, 2011, Volume 32
Abstract
This workshop explored the web meeting service Dimdim, its limitations, and its application to laboratory instruction by running an actual meeting with an off-site participant. Also Dimdim was compared to Skype and other web communication applications. Subsequent to the workshop the authors helped create a Forum on the ABLE website where applications that ABLE members can use for education can be described and linked. The Forum is called “Teaching Apps” and is located in the Resources dropdown menu.
