| It's been three months since the last ABLE conference and a lot has happened since them. So much has happened that I was worried I wouldn't be ready to get this Fall issue out. But, thanks to those of you who sent me articles without formatting issues, I was able to pull it all together.
As usual, Labstracts is meant for you to find out when ABLE and other meetings are scheduled and where they are taking place. You can read articles from members, the past meeting minutes, board reports, election results and look at photos from past ABLE conferences right here! You can check out more about ABLE by going to http://www.ableweb.org. The 2010 conference was in Halifax, Nova Scotia and we had a great week. Many of us stayed longer after the conference to vacation with our families in parts of Nova Scotia. Below is a gorgeous picture of Peggy's Cove when my family and I visited.
The 2011 conference will be held at New Mexico State University with hopefully many of you returning to the meeting and to enjoy the sites in the New Mexico area. For those of you who have never come to an ABLE conference, consider coming to Las Cruces, New Mexico! You get to enjoy seeing a different university and its surroundings and come home with all kinds of ideas to improve your labs.
